Shannon McKenzie Joins SfA Advisory Board

Shannon J. McKenzie is an industry leader in digital media. As the Director of Product Development at NBCUniversal, McKenzie has led the design and development of enterprise platforms and consumer products. As an Emmy winning producer, McKenzie has created and produced over 800 digital experiences for entertainment, news, film, and sports. She has brought the world’s largest stories to screens of all sizes; including The Olympics, The World Cup, The Super Bowl, The Oscars and more. McKenzie also holds multiple patents and has designed and developed technologies for creative management platforms, analytics products and consumer facing sites and apps. SfA is excited to welcome her to the Advisory Board.

Sally Singer: Behind the Scenes

Sally Singer, Vogue’s Creative Digital Director, is a master in storytelling, finding new ways to provoke our imagination and capture our attention. Singer has an impressive resume of professional experience including  the London Review of Books and British Vogue. She first joined the American Vogue in 1999, working as a fashion news and features director, transitioned to T: The New York Times Style Magazine in 2010, then returned to Vogue as their Creative Digital Director. Joe Pugliese: Documenting Our Times

Joe Pugliese has photographed scientists, authors, performers, creative geniuses, and everyday people and documented their fascinating stories. With an intention to reveal the epic, Miranda Penn Turin has captured the heroic, the beautiful, and the humanity in her photographs regardless of where she is in the world. A specialist in portraits, fashion, and beauty, her clients include Coty, Max Factor, Sony, Universal, Bloomingdales, Fox, Warner Bros. Records, Converse, Conde Nast, the Four Seasons, Chase, MTV and many others. Her images of the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu provide the cover art for the New York Times top ten bestseller The Book of Joy. Sophy Holland: Connections Through the Camera

With over 12 years of experience in the fashion, advertising, and film industry, Sophy Holland is a photographer and director who captures the humanity in all of her projects. Alongside her photography for many globally recognized brands, she made her directorial debut with  ‘Brace’, the short educational film supporting gay & trans youth against gang violence in London. Holland continued to direct a mixture of advertising and humanitarian oriented film projects, including:  ‘Illustrated Man’ and ‘Unravelling the Pink Ribbon’ which explore the history of tattoo culture and the history of the BCRF and BCA fight against breast cancer, respectively.

Mathieu Young: Meaningfully Specific

Mathieu Young defines being an artist and an entrepreneur. As a photographer, he has shot for Amazon, AmEx, AT&T, Bose, Bank of America, Folgers, HBO, Marriott, Netflix, Petfinder, and Paramount Studios. He run a pop up music and dinner series in collaboration with the California State Parks Department called Kensington Presents. Additionally, he is the founder of Art of Freelance, an accelerator for creatives. Pamela Littky’s Look at the World

Pamela Littky’s photography captures the well-known surprising and vulnerable moments that can be both disarming and intimate. In the same breath, she is using her unique eye to document the less glamorous but equally compelling components of American culture. Littky has released two monographs: Vacancy and The Villa Bonita. Additionally, she and her work have been recognized with awards and honors including the 2016 PDN Selected Image; One Shot: One World Honorable Mentions in 2014 for Kid Cudi, Blue Bus, Steve Martin, and Middle of Nowhere; and Communication Arts Honorable Mention in 2011, to name a few.
