Putting together a photo shoot for the first time? Or are you looking for new and improved ways to refine your process? Our tips below will set you up for success and provide insight about how to execute a photoshoot you’re proud of.

Photography community EyeEm and Space for Arts, an online photo studio booking platform, have partnered to provide 100 hours of free studio space to photographers in New York City in the month of August.
Starting today, photographers can apply via this form for ½ day or full day shoots in one of two studios on the Space for Arts platform. Applications will be accepted for ten days, after which EyeEm and Space for Arts will vet each application and pick passion projects to support.
“We’ve always been about the love of photography and sharing important visual stories,” said EyeEm Co-founder and CEO Florian Meissner. “This partnership allows us to provide a space for photographers to do just that, to shoot their passion projects without the burden of spending money on a space.”

Creative space is a concept embracing the mental, physical, and emotional environments within which creativity operates. It is something you must carve out and claim for yourself. The mission launched June 13th, with a week for photographers of all levels from across the globe to submit their favorite shots.

The Berlin-based company has created a rich digital archive of photos. Photographers retain their rights and are in control of choosing which photos to sell to brands, agencies, designers, etc. And with millions of images to […]
