EyeEm and Space for Arts Team Up to Provide 100 Hours of Studio Time for Photographers in NYC

Beginning today, photographers can apply for up to 10 hours of free studio time

Photography community EyeEm and Space for Arts, an online photo studio booking platform, have partnered to provide 100 hours of free studio space to photographers in New York City in the month of August.

Starting today, photographers can apply via this form for ½ day or full day shoots in one of two studios on the Space for Arts platform. Applications will be accepted for ten days, after which EyeEm and Space for Arts will vet each application and pick passion projects to support.

“We’ve always been about the love of photography and sharing important visual stories,” said EyeEm Co-founder and CEO Florian Meissner. “This partnership allows us to provide a space for photographers to do just that, to shoot their passion projects without the burden of spending money on a space.”

“Creative Space” Mission with EyeEm Kicks Off Summer Projects

Space for Arts and EyeEm teamed up this summer to sponsor a mission looking for photographic representations of creative space. Creative space is a concept embracing the mental, physical, and emotional environments within which creativity operates. It is something you must carve out and claim for yourself. The mission launched June 13th, with a week for photographers of all levels from across the globe to submit their favorite shots.
