Announcing the Inaugural Advisory Board

Space for Arts is pleased to announce the establishment of its Industry Advisory Board. The Advisory Board’s purpose is to provide leadership in the form of industry specific guidance and insight. Members of the Advisory Board will act as informal ambassadors for SFA, helping to lead our growing presence and acceptance within the photography community. We are pleased to welcome industry leaders Marcel Saba, Carol LeFlufy, and Barbara Griffin as the founding members.

Marcel Saba is the founder of Redux Pictures, an award winning New York based, commercial and editorial photo agency with photographers located around the world. Redux artists have photographed portraits of world leaders, CEOs, politicians, athletes and celebrities. SFA and EyeEm Workshop Welcomes José Cabaço, Tutes, and Thomas Welch

Space for Arts and EyeEm hosted José Cabaço, Tutes, and Thomas Welch for a stimulating workshop on brand photography in a welcoming West Village studio. The three speakers, each with a wealth of experience, were invited to share their stories and secrets to success in shooting for brands. From the photographers in the audience, it was only positive feedback and rave reviews.  Rarely is there an intimate setting where photographers not only have access to these talented creatives, but were able to mix, mingle, socialize and connect in a way that impacts careers.

Sally Singer Leads Space For Art’s Premiere Talking Pictures

The West Village studio was electric, with creativity buzzing among the 75 photographers, producers, writers, and art/creative directors who gathered to exchange ideas.  Sally Singer, Vogue’s Creative Director, Digital led a discussion that inspired and enthralled.

Singer has an impressive resume of professional experience in magazines. Her career started with the London Review of Books and British Vogue.
